“Give Back, Grow, Succeed” is Lazy River Products motto.

This weekend our employees teamed up with the Clean River Project and went above and beyond cleaning an abandoned homeless camp along the Merrimack River. The camp was located in the woods about 100 yards west of the Rourke Bridge. Our crew, along with Rocky Morrison of the Clean River Project, bagged and carried out 1,740 pounds (.87 tons) of trash/debris from this site. In the words of Rocky, “We haven’t done a clean out this difficult in a long time.”

Along with our cleaning efforts, Lazy River Products presented and check for $2,004.60 to the Clean River Project, which was made up from in store donations, t-shirt sales and raffles from our 420 event, along with a matching LRP donation of $1,000.

The event was a great success, and we ask everyone to help the Clean River Project with their mission by donating online at https://cleanriverproject.org/donate/

And if you haven’t heard the folks at CRP at now doing boat tours on the river, check it out at https://cleanriverproject.org/tours/
