Frequently Asked Questions About Cannabis Concentrates
What types of concentrates does Lazy River Products carry?
Lazy River Products offers a wide range of concentrates including live resin, live rosin, wax, shatter, budder, and hash oil. Because Lazy River is a vertically integrated cultivator and producer based in Dracut, MA, many concentrates are crafted in-house from their proprietary cultivars, so you get extract made directly from flower like Cherry Waves, Dante’s Inferno, and Juicee J.
What is the difference between live resin and live rosin?
Live resin is made using a solvent-based extraction process (typically butane or CO2) applied to fresh-frozen cannabis, preserving a robust terpene profile. Live rosin is solventless, produced through heat and pressure, making it a popular choice for consumers who prefer a cleaner extraction method. Both are available at Lazy River’s Dracut and Tewksbury locations.
How do I consume concentrates?
The most common method is dabbing, using a dab rig, e-nail, or dab pen with a heated surface called a banger or nail. Concentrates can also be added to a bowl or joint to boost potency, or consumed using a vaporizer designed for concentrates. If you’re new to concentrates, our budtenders at either location are happy to walk you through the best method for your experience level.
Are Lazy River Products concentrates lab tested?
Yes. All Lazy River Products are tested by state-licensed third-party laboratories in compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Lab results confirm potency (THC/CBD percentages) and screen for pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbials so you know exactly what you’re consuming.
How should I store concentrates to preserve their quality?
Store concentrates in a cool, dark place, ideally in an airtight silicone or glass container. Avoid exposure to heat, light, and humidity, which can degrade terpenes and cause concentrates to lose potency or change texture. For longer-term storage, keeping concentrates in a refrigerator (not freezer) in an airtight container is a great option.
