THE GREAT BEAVER BROOK CLEANUP
This past Sat, Aug 27th, Lazy River Products, in partnership with The Clean River Project, and through a grant provided by the Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET), the two groups organized two sizeable cleanup sites in Dracut and Lowell along Beaver Brook. This brook feeds directly into the Merrimack River and has been a dump site for peoples non desirables for many years. Due to this season’s low water levels, we were able to get access to material that hasn’t been visible or reachable until now. The effort shows the two organizations continued efforts to clean up our local waterways and help to restore them to their previous glory.
