Job Summary –
Trim and manicure marijuana plants. May also assist with topping, cloning, hanging, drying and curing. This zen-like profession requires a great deal of concentration and attention to detail.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities –
· By hand snip off each of the undesirable fan leaves and then precisely manicure the THC sugary resin coated leaves off of the bud, leaving behind a bud that is both appealing on the shelf and enjoyable to smoke.
· Trim each bud to cater to its characteristics.
· Prepare multiple cultivars each in their own way to ensure maximum quality.
· Know the difference between trimming buds that are tighter, more compact and middle-shaped as opposed to those which are not as dense and have many more fan leaves that need to be removed.
· Maintain or repair agricultural facilities, equipment, or tools to ensure operational readiness, safety, and cleanliness.
· Clean scissors with rubbing alcohol regularly to remove sticky substance.
· May be required to train new hires on best practices.
· Wear protective clothing or change into ‘work clothing’ that will be provided by the company while trimming.
· When needed, assist with harvesting, hanging, and drying.
· Perform general nursery duties, such as propagating standard varieties of plant materials, collecting, and germinating seeds, maintaining cuttings of plants, or controlling environmental conditions.

· Maintain knowledge of all LRP products and services, while adhering to CCC, state, and local laws.
· Maintain organization and appearance of facility by daily upkeep and light cleaning, as well as daily COVID sanitizations of all surfaces included on LRP COVID-19 Workplace Safety Policy.

· Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest safety standards for fellow employees, products, and the facility.

Job Summary –
The Harvest/Post-Harvest Associate will assist in the day-to-day cultivation operations related to the harvest, trim and curing/drying of cannabis plants. Responsibilities and duties include harvesting plants, safely operating/maintaining equipment, and processing waste pursuant to state regulations and standard operating procedures. The HVPH will assist Lazy River Products (“LRP”) in supplying consistent, high-quality marijuana while remaining fully consistent with LRP’s Standard Operating Procedures. This position works under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities –
- Manage all trim equipment with a focus on safety, ensuring tools and machinery are functional at all times; start up equipment at the beginning of each shift and follow proper shut down procedures at the end of each shift; adjust equipment as necessary to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor quality and measure accurately to ensure optimal production level.
- Works closely with Cultivation personnel to manage workflow and scheduling
- Weighs and properly stores finished product
- Record and capture data precisely from all operations that are performed daily.
- Completes daily production reports
- May participate in harvests, trimming, cloning and other duties as assigned to maintain an efficient workflow through-out the facility.
- May assist in other operations of the grow, to include but not limited to set-up, cleaning of equipment.

Job Summary –
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting cultivation management in the day-to-day functions of the cultivation production areas, including propagation, cultivation, and harvest, as well as the post-harvest activities related to curing, trimming, packaging, and storing finished product. The Cultivation Technician’s role in maintaining a sanitary and organized inventory of product depends upon the detail and thoughtfulness exhibited in this position, primarily, the ability to effectively compartmentalize cultivars, batches, and corresponding numeric values to reduce any confusion or mislabeling.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities –
- 1. Plant Care:
- Carry out day-to-day plant care, including watering, pruning, harvesting, and trimming. Monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the State of MA and standards set by the Lazy River Products.
- Measure and mix nutrient and plant applications and applies these mixtures
according to company policy.
- Ensure plant health by pruning, topping, trimming, and analyzing plant health according to company policy, as well as any other tasks required.
- Assist Cultivation Manager with rotation of strains through garden to ensure variety and quantity for dispensary locations.
- 2. Facility and Cleaning:
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
- 3. Reports and Documentation:
- Assist Cultivation Management with tracking plants from birth to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable information.
- Document, according to company policy, the application of all nutrients, and/or substances applied to any plant located within the cultivation facility.
