At Lazy River Products, giving back to the community isn’t just a seasonal initiative — it’s part of our identity. That’s why each year, we proudly support the Lowell General Hospital TeamWalk for CancerCare, one of the region’s most impactful local fundraising events.
Why We Walked
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, our team laced up our sneakers and joined thousands of participants in downtown Lowell to walk in support of local cancer patients. Some walked for friends. Some for family. Others walked for themselves. But all of us walked with purpose — driven by a shared commitment to help provide vital services that go beyond the hospital walls.
For our staff, TeamWalk is personal. It’s a day to show up for loved ones affected by cancer, to honor those we’ve lost, and to stand in solidarity with patients currently in treatment. It’s a reflection of the strength, compassion, and resilience that defines this community.
A Community Effort — Multiplied
Our support didn’t stop at the walk.
Throughout May, we collected donations at our Dracut and Tewksbury dispensaries — and to help those dollars go further, Lazy River Products matched every customer donation. Together, our community raised $4,400, which includes both customer contributions and our company’s 100% match.
These funds go directly to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, helping to ease the burden for local patients and families in ways that truly matter.
Where the Money Goes
Every dollar raised through TeamWalk provides real, practical support. That includes:
