Times are tough. For individuals and families who rely on SNAP and EBT, the impact of the government shutdown has been immediate. Food insecurity and financial stress are already a daily reality for many in our community, and this moment has only deepened that strain. During times like these, compassion matters. Action matters even more. At Lazy River Products, we believe cannabis can be part of that support as a source of relief and connection.
When systems fall short, community steps in. That’s exactly what we set out to do.
Lazy River Products & Jeeter Are Giving Back
Instead of watching from the sidelines, Lazy River Products teamed up with Jeeter to do something tangible for the community. What started as a response to the shutdown has grown into an ongoing act of solidarity (one we’ve proudly been offering since November and are continuing today at both of our locations).
Here’s how it works:
Simply walk into Lazy River Products in Dracut or Tewksbury, say “Jeeter sent me” at the register, and we’ll include a .5 g infused Jeeter pre-roll with your purchase at no extra cost.
No qualifiers.
No paperwork.
No questions.
Just one per person so we can spread the love as far as possible.
This is a thank-you, a moment of relief, and a reminder that you’re part of a community that cares.
Cannabis as Community Care
Cannabis has long been a source of support for people navigating tough times. Whether it’s easing stress, helping with sleep, or offering a moment of calm in the middle of chaos, it plays a meaningful role in many people’s wellness routines.
By turning cannabis into a community-driven initiative, we’re shifting the narrative. This is about dignity, accessibility, and meeting people where they are. A single pre-roll won’t solve everything, but it can offer comfort, connection, and the simple reassurance that someone is looking out for you.
That’s what lighting up the community really means to us.
Supporting the Merrimack Valley Food Bank
Giving back doesn’t stop at the dispensary door. From November through December 31st, Lazy River Products has been actively partnering with the Merrimack Valley Food Bank through donations and fundraising efforts to directly address food insecurity in our region. As part of this initiative, we also donated frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving to help local families celebrate the holiday with a warm meal.
In just the first two weeks of the program, we helped donate 1,337 pounds of food, and we’re only getting started.
We encourage everyone who visits to consider dropping off non-perishable food items or making a donation through December 31st. Every contribution helps ensure our neighbors have access to the basics they need during an incredibly challenging time.
Community care works best when we all participate.
Better Prices, Every Day
Alongside these community efforts, we’ve also made a meaningful change to support our customers long term. We’ve lowered prices on Lazy River Products by an average of 15–25% across all categories, making clean, quality cannabis more accessible every day.
This is a part of our commitment to everyday value, fairness, and affordability. When times are tough, access matters, and we want our shelves to reflect that.
We’re Still Here. We’re Still Giving.
Right now, people are being forced into impossible choices, like deciding between groceries and peace of mind. That’s not okay. With this simple, compassionate initiative, Lazy River Products and Jeeter are standing with the community in a real, tangible way—and so far, we’ve provided over 1,000 pre-rolls, with more to come.
One pre-roll might seem small, but in the middle of instability, it can offer comfort, care, and a reminder that someone’s looking out for you. Sometimes, that brief moment of relief or calm can make a real difference when everything else feels uncertain.
Come to Lazy River Products in Dracut or Tewksbury and find community support in a world of chaos.
