Why Our Menu Prices Look Different (But Haven’t Changed)
If you’ve been shopping with us for a while, you might notice something new the next time you check out our menu. Our prices now show before tax.
We wanted to take a minute to explain why we made this change and what it means for you. Spoiler: nothing has gone up.
What's Changing
Until now, we have always listed our pricing as “out the door,” meaning the number you saw already included Massachusetts cannabis taxes. Most dispensaries, however, list pre-tax pricing instead.
To stay consistent with the rest of the market and make it easier to compare value across dispensaries, our menus, website, and digital displays will now list prices before tax.
At checkout, your total with state and local taxes will still be shown clearly, just like before.
What's Not Changing
We haven’t raised prices.
The product costs exactly the same today as it did last week.You’re still getting the same value.
We’re simply showing the subtotal first, then tax, just like virtually every other dispensary in Massachusetts.Transparency stays our priority.
We believe the more clearly you understand your total, the more confident you can feel about your purchase.
Why We Made the Change
This update actually started with you.We heard from many customers that it was hard to compare our prices with other dispensaries since we were one of the few showing totals with tax included. You asked for a clearer, apples-to-apples comparison, and we listened.
By switching to pre-tax display, you can now easily line up products and see that our value stacks up right alongside others across Massachusetts.
This small change helps us stay competitive, simplifies your shopping experience, and reflects our ongoing commitment to transparency and customer feedback.
